Hot on the heels of their recent epic release, “Space Knights,” Adrian² are at it again with their take on Thyladomid’s “The Real Thing.”
This version has a subtly ancient feel to it, with dramatic undertones and vaguely exotic instrumentation, save for the occasional oscillatory wobble that infuses just a hint of foreboding. The track is deep and rolling, slowly progressing onward like a desert journey caravan before arriving at a breakdown of wistful and impassioned vocals. This mysterious beauty of a remix demonstrates again Adriatique’s exceptional prowess at both remixing and original productions.
