Up-and-coming young Italian producer Francys has created a stellar and creatively crafted podcast for us, including great dark and moody tracks like (our personal favourite) “Nibiru” off his recent “Different Shapes” EP on AEON, James Sison – Teachings, Speaking Minds – Paradise, Human Machine – Polymorphism, and others. I was lucky enough to celebrate my birthday at the April Cityfox Den in Brooklyn (read my Cityfox Den review here). It was an amazing party, and Adriatique, being the warriors of extended sets that they are, played a fantastic 5 hours of dancefloor fire, including lots of great unreleased material as per usual. Of the genre of hypnotically slow BPM, slightly trippy house coined perfectly by Ninze as “ketahouse,” I was blown away after listening to this ketamazing live set by him and Okaxy. I have had this chill mix on repeat for the majority of a day now and it’s already a staple favourite of mine.

Recently having released on All Day I Dream, Gorje Hewek & Izhevski channel a gorgeous, uplifting vibe here in what is arguably their best set yet. Very special and unique sound here with lots of airy atmospheric pads and lovely sounds. Another really special set going on standby for me for beach days or any other time absolutely beautiful vibes are needed. Really impressed with this.

Something a little different here, not really sure how to classify this… their description says “a merger of techno, house, and dub.” Dark, minimal-ish, but with lots of interesting elements. Really love this one as well.

What is there to say about French producer/composer Worakls? One of the most talented and unique sounding guys in the game, his music is an incredible merger of beautiful orchestral elements like violin and piano with uplifting dance rhythms. He even plays sometimes with an orchestra; hoping someday Worakls Live Orchestra footage will make its way online, even the shoddy cell phone videos on Youtube hint at something amazing I hope to someday experience…
